Job summary

AMS International UAE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-value engineering and EPC projects in the UAE from inception through to handover. You will own multiple projects, collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.

The role requires 5-7 years of solo project delivery, strong commercial and technical oversight, and the ability to manage scope, cost, schedule and risk.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience managing projects solo/independently (not a PM-in-training under a Sr. PM) within engineering/EPC/power environments.
• Ownership of both commercial/P&L performance and technical/schedule delivery.
• Experience leading a small direct team (1-2 people) while coordinating broader project stakeholders.
• Strong command of project management tools and structured scope/schedule/cost/risk management.
• Proven ability to manage client-facing communication and multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Track record of on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• PMP certification preferred but not mandatory - equivalent hands-on project ownership experience will be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, defining scope and objectives.
• Liaise closely with Senior Project Managers, project sponsors, and stakeholders on progress and challenges.
• Own project documentation - Customer VDRL, vendor documents, and engineering documentation.
• Plan and monitor project budgets, own commercial performance alongside technical and schedule delivery.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, issues, and risk using structured PM tools and processes.
• Lead a small direct team (1-2 members) while coordinating a wider cross-functional project group.
• Capture and share lessons learned across teams to strengthen future project delivery.
• Build strong, customer-centric relationships and manage stakeholder communication end-to-end.
• Handle conflict situations effectively and with minimal disruption to project momentum.
• Support project closeout documentation and MRB completion.
