Job summary

Righttalentrightnow in Abu Dhabi seeks an Executive Manager – Squad Cyber Technical Lead to head the delivery across AppSec, AI Governance, Continuous Security Validation and Compliance & Evidence Management. The role provides technical leadership for DevSecOps, cloud security and AI/LLM security in a highly regulated banking environment, ensuring alignment with 2LoD policies and inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• Extensive cybersecurity engineering and technical leadership experience in regulated environments.
• Hands-on DevSecOps, AppSec, and cloud security expertise.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud security.
• Knowledge of AI/ML security and governance.
• Experience in banking or highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with 3LoD/1LoD model and 2LoD collaboration.
• Strong understanding of regulatory security frameworks and assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across AppSec, AI Governance, Continuous Security Validation, and Compliance workstreams.
• Maintain adherence to security policies, controls, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
• Own the cybersecurity tooling ecosystem (SonarQube, Snyk, IRM, Security Agent, cloud tools).
• Drive tooling integration and security architecture across the technology landscape.
• Establish end-to-end security evidence and attestation framework.
• Act as the 1st Line of Defense (1LoD) counterpart to 2LoD Risk/Compliance and AI Centre of Excellence.
• Chair the Security Champions Guild and drive security adoption across engineering teams.
• Prepare monthly DevSecOps Governance dashboards for 2LoD stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory and audit readiness with a focus on CBUAE requirements.
• Drive security controls across cloud, application, AI/ML, and DevSecOps environments.
