The role requires direct financial services experience, with emphasis on payments, PSP, and merchant acquiring, and a strong understanding of UAE Central Bank requirements. A pragmatic, commercially aware approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cyber security in financial services.
• Direct experience with PSP or merchant acquiring is a plus.
• Experience with UAE Central Bank/CBUAE regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cyber security agenda and security governance.
• Ensure alignment with UAE Central Bank regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance and business leadership.
• Maintain security controls without slowing innovation.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards and risk assessments.
• Oversee cyber risk identification, remediation and reporting.
• Support regulatory examinations and remediation programmes.
• Manage security incidents and recovery processes.
• Work with technology teams to embed security into architecture and change.
