Job summary

A leading Middle East retail group is undergoing a major technology transformation across its e-commerce, warehouse, and POS systems. We are hiring a Cutover & Release Lead to own cutover release management and hypercare for the non-SAP technology estate.

Responsibilities include building end-to-end cutover plans, running go/no-go criteria, operating the command centre during live cutovers, and designing the post-go-live support model with ongoing hypercare.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT delivery with recent leadership in large multi-system go-lives.
• 5+ years leading cutover/release for major programmes.
• Experience with retail tech (POS/OMS/WMS/e-commerce).

Responsibilities

• Build and own the end-to-end cutover plan: tasks, owners, dependencies, critical path.
• Define go/no-go criteria and run cutover dress rehearsals.
• Run the command centre through live cutover windows including out-of-hours.
• Design and stand up the post-go-live support model and run hypercare.
• Manage a rolling release calendar with the next release prepared while the current one is in hypercare.
• Coordinate internal teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors.

What you ll do

What you'll bring

• 10+ years in IT delivery, including 5+ years leading cutover/release for large, multi-system programmes
• End-to-end ownership of at least 2 enterprise go-lives, including rehearsals and command-centre execution
• Experience in retail/consumer tech landscapes (POS, OMS, WMS, e-commerce, customer platforms)
• Experience running hypercare and transitioning into BAU support
• Calm, decisive, and comfortable holding partners to committed dates
