Job summary

Cicada Capital is building its in-house trading desk for CEX and DEX markets. We seek an experienced quant researcher who can independently research, code, test, and deploy trading strategies with solid backtests or live results.

You should bring strong Python and C++ skills, at least 1 year in a quant fund or prop trader, and a track record of turning ideas into profitable strategies. Remote, hybrid or office work formats are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must-have: at least one actionable trading strategy or idea backed by solid backtests or live trading results.
• 1+ years of experience in a quant fund or proprietary trading firm.
• Ability to independently research, code, test, and deploy strategies.
• Strong Python & C++ skills.

Responsibilities

• Build his trading desk in-house for CEX and/or DEX markets.
• Research, code, test and deploy trading strategies independently.
• Turn opportunities into real PnL with strong execution and risk controls.
• Collaborate with engineering to scale and optimize infrastructure.
