Epic Markets in Dubai seeks a Head of CFD Trading to lead a 24/7 dealing team and oversee the firm’s CFD trading book, ensuring client flow, market risks, and hedging align with strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Quantitative CFD Trading, you will collaborate with quantitative research and technology teams to optimize exposures, hedging, and automation while upholding strict risk governance across global markets.
Founded by two former Citadel Securities executives and backed by prominent institutional investors, Epic Markets is building a next-generation global multi-asset brokerage. Combining institutional market-making expertise, advanced quantitative trading capabilities, and a powerful global network of investors and industry leaders, we are building a technology-first brokerage to bring institutional-grade pricing and liquidity to retail traders worldwide. We’re well funded, committed to our partners for the long term, deeply networked, and moving fast. If you’re interested in building a leading trading desk from the ground up, this is the place to do it.
We are seeking a Head of CFD Trading to build out and lead our dealing team with responsibility for the day-to-day management and monitoring and control of the firm's CFD trading book. The team will provide continuous 24 hour coverage across global markets, ensuring that client flow, market risks and hedging activities are actively managed in line with the firm's trading strategies and risk framework. Reporting to the Head of Quantitative CFD Trading, you will also work closely with the quantitative research and technology teams, combining practical dealing expertise with data-driven analysis to improve the way the firm manages its exposures, executes hedges and operates its trading desk.
This is an opportunity to help build a modern dealing function from a greenfield perspective. We are looking for someone who understands the realities of CFD brokerage but is not constrained by traditional dealing models. The successful candidate will be comfortable challenging established practices, collaborating with quantitative researchers and technology engineers, and implementing innovative approaches to book management, risk monitoring and automation.
The Head of CFD Trading will be a key contributor to the firm's overall success, working in close partnership with the Head of Quantitative CFD Trading and the quantitative research team to continually improve the way the business manages risk and operates its trading book.
