Job summary

Axiom in Dubai is seeking a Senior Quantitative Developer to lead building an institutional-grade crypto trading platform, connecting 10–20+ exchanges, and delivering fast, reliable execution.

You will own the core trading infrastructure, backtest strategies, and shape quantitative approaches with real-time data and scalable pipelines, utilizing Python and C++. Dubai-based role offering high-impact work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in quantitative development or algorithmic trading systems.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and production performance optimisation.
• Backtesting and market data expertise, with real-time processing.
• Proven OMS experience with multi-exchange and synchronized execution.
• API expertise across REST, WebSockets and FIX 4.4.
• Strong Python and C++ skills; Django or Flask preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build a Multi-Exchange Trading Platform: Connect 10–20+ leading crypto exchanges and power institutional-grade trading.
• Own Core Trading Infrastructure: Architect a high-performance Order Management System (OMS) from the ground up.
• Unlock Arbitrage Opportunities: Develop real-time scanners to identify and capture profitable cross-exchange and funding rate opportunities.
• Push Speed and Performance: Optimise low-latency execution and high-throughput data pipelines using Python and C++.
• Shape Quantitative Strategies: Build advanced backtesting tools and flexible frameworks to bring new trading strategies to life.
• Drive Trading Performance: Own production reliability, execution quality and risk controls in a fast-moving digital asset trading environment.
