Job summary

Mintlayer is seeking a senior internal audit professional to design and implement its internal audit framework, with a focus on treasury governance, code deployments, and risk controls. You will produce regular transparency reports for the community and institutional audiences, and develop on-chain transparency tooling and proof-of-reserve mechanisms to earn trust.

Qualifications

• 4+ years internal audit, external audit, or financial controls.
• Familiarity with on-chain transparency tooling and proof-of-reserve mechanisms.
• Experience in crypto or fintech environments preferred.
• Strong written communication for public-facing institutional reports.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the Mintlayer internal audit framework.
• Produce regular transparency reports for community and institutional audiences.
• Implement proof-of-reserve mechanisms and on-chain transparency tooling.
• Conduct internal audits on treasury management, financial controls, and protocol deployment procedures.
• Report audit findings and recommendations to the Risk and Compliance Director and CEO.
• Build the audit trail documentation standard for all material protocol changes.
• Coordinate with external auditors on the annual financial audit process.
