Our Abu Dhabi-based investment client is seeking an Investment Professional to manage the full investment lifecycle—from initial screening through due diligence, investment committee presentation, and transaction execution. The role combines rigorous financial and commercial judgement with curiosity about frontier technology and long-term competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• Around 8+ years of private equity or direct investment experience.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Ability to form independent, well-reasoned views on business quality.
• Track record of supporting or leading transactions from screening to execution.
• Comfort presenting to senior stakeholders and investment committees.
• Cross-cultural fluency across Gulf and Asian markets; Mandarin would be a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate opportunities against the firm’s thesis.
• Lead due diligence workstreams with third-party advisors.
• Build and stress-test detailed financial models.
• Assess business, product, pricing, and competitive dynamics.
• Identify risks and validation gaps before capital deployment.
• Develop investment cases and IC materials.
• Support transaction signing and close.
• Monitor portfolio company performance post-investment.
