Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized medical school.
• Structured clinical residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialization.
• 2–3 years of clinical experience post-specialization, per DOH tier and hospital requirements.
• DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility preferred to practice in Abu Dhabi.
• Current valid license from country of last/current practice.
• Certificate of Good Standing from licensing authority.
• DOH licensing exam completed (oral assessment potentially).
• Fluency in English and Arabic; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and take medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, or procedures related to the specialty.
• Collaborate with other specialists and departments for integrated care.
• Accurately document clinical information compliant with regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement, audits, and research activities.
• Provide supervision and education to junior medical staff and students.
• Communicate clinical information to patients and families and obtain consent.
