Job summary

SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. seeks a Specialist Physician to deliver high quality, patient-centred care under supervision of Consultant Physicians. The role emphasises clinical excellence, supervision of junior staff, and training within the Division.

The post holder contributes to performance management and continuous improvement in patient care. Responsibilities include leading ward rounds, ensuring coverage, coordinating with other departments, and participating in on-call rotations

Qualifications

• Tier 1: No additional experience required post board certification.
• Tier 2: NLT 2 years of clinical experience post qualification in internationally accredited institute.
• Tier 3: NLT 3 years clinical experience as Specialist post qualification in internationally accredited institute

Responsibilities

• Assists Consultant with ensuring adequate medical coverage within the Division.
• Leads ward rounds and reassesses inpatients/outpatients regularly.
• Documents clinical information clearly and timely.
• Participates in multi-disciplinary meetings to plan holistic care.
• Assists with supervision of junior medical staff.
• Performs other clinical responsibilities as assigned.
• Supports reporting and response to untoward incidents.
• Promotes quality improvement and audit within the Division
