Job summary

John Crane, a business of Smiths Group, is seeking a Credit Controller to join our team in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, on a 6-8 month contractual assignment. The role focuses on developing, implementing and maintaining an efficient credit control system to support cash flow and accounts receivable targets.

Responsibilities include maintaining customer billing, collecting payments, reconciling accounts, and providing monthly cash forecast insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or similar finance role in a multinational environment.
• SAP experience required; advanced knowledge of finance software applications, databases, and spreadsheets; strong MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Fluent English; Arabic and/or French language skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date customer billing accounts.
• Follow up, collection and allocation of payments.
• Dispatch invoices to customers and report collections by deadlines.
• Reconcile accounts and monitor outstanding balances.
