Job summary

Smiths Group's John Crane unit in Dubai seeks an experienced Credit Controller for a 6-8 month maternity cover. The role focuses on maintaining cash flow through robust credit control, customer billing, collections, and reconciliations.

Requirements include UAE work authorization, a degree in Accounting/Finance, 3–6 years in credit control, SAP and MS Excel proficiency; fluent English. Jebel Ali Free Zone experience is a plus for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or similar finance role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date customer billing accounts
• Follow up, collection and allocation of payments
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Prepare monthly cash forecast
• Monitor credit limits and non-payments
• Investigate and resolve customer queries
• Communicate with customers via phone, email or mail
• Review and enhance credit control procedures
