Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to oversee customer credit, collections, and receivables within a freight forwarding setting. The role requires strong knowledge of freight forwarding invoicing, customer accounts, and credit terms.

You will work with multiple accounts, meet collection targets, and ensure accurate shipping documentation and ERP system updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable, preferably in freight/logistics.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding billing and customer accounts.
• Proficient in debt collection and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer credit, collections, and outstanding receivables.
• Monitor credit terms, reduce credit risk, and liaise with clients on billing.

• 5-7 years of Credit Control / Accounts Receivable experience, preferably within Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics, or Supply Chain
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding billing and customer accounts
• Good knowledge of credit control procedures and debt collection
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Ability to handle multiple customer accounts and meet collection targets
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
