Job summary

FAB is seeking a Specialist - Credit CAD Controls in the UAE to oversee credit limit management and guide a team through limit encoding and processing. The role ensures adherence to approved terms, policies, and regulatory requirements across head office, branches, and regulators.

Key duties include authorizing/processing credit limits, maintaining bank and country limits, and preparing daily memos and monthly credit reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 3 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the credit facility function.

Responsibilities

• Manage credit limits for facilities and guide the team in day-to-day limit encoding and control.
• Ensure compliance with approved terms, policies, SOPs, SLA, and DOA across FAB entities and regulators.
• Authorize/process/encode credit limits, maintain Bank & Country limits as per credit approvals.
• Prepare day-to-day transactions such as loan memos, processing tickets, and settlements.
• Maintain monthly activities like annual credit limit reviews and prepare provision memos.
• Prepare liability/no liability certificates and ensure timely responses to internal queries.
