Job summary

Workato in Abu-Dhabi seeks an experienced Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a similar role and a passion for making delicious cakes, pastries, and desserts.

The Pastry Chef will prepare pastries and desserts, train junior staff, and ensure quality and timeliness of kitchen work. The role requires strong organizational skills, culinary creativity, and knowledge of sanitation and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all pastries and desserts according to recipes and standards.
• Create new recipes and bake cakes and other pastries.
• Decorate desserts and manage inventory of ingredients.
• Train junior staff on baking techniques and provide feedback to management on product quality.
• Ensure kitchen work is completed in a timely manner.
