Workato is seeking a Pastry Chef in Abu-Dhabi UAE to join our kitchen team. The role centers on crafting desserts, pastries, and gateaux while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.

The candidate will work in a professional kitchen, creating new recipes and plating desserts to specification. The position requires strong baking skills, experience in formal kitchen settings, and a passion for desserts.

Qualifications

• Excellent baking skills and knowledge of ingredients, garnishes, presentation and flavor combinations.
• Experience working in professional kitchens.
• A passion for creating delicious desserts, cakes, pastries, gateaux and other desserts.
• Valid food safety certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Creating new recipes and dishes.
• Preparing all types of desserts.
• Decorating cakes.
• Plating food items according to standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
• Following all safety guidelines.
• Coordinating with other staff members to ensure an efficient production process.
• Identifying any potential problems during production processes and taking steps to resolve them.
• Managing inventory levels.
• Ordering supplies as needed.
• Communicating orders clearly with other staff members.
• Ensuring quality control is maintained at all times.
