Job summary

Woopel is seeking a Crane Operator in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The candidate will operate heavy cranes, ensuring safe and efficient performance on site, with responsibilities including load security and equipment maintenance.

Applicants should have 2+ years of crane experience, be able to read blueprints, and pass safety training prior to operating any crane. Flexibility for overnight shifts and visa eligibility for Abu Dhabi are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of crane operation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering documents.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must pass safety training before operating any crane.
• Willing to work flexible hours including night shifts.
• Must be able to work in Abu Dhabi with valid visa, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Operate heavy cranes safely and efficiently.
• Ensure loads are securely placed.
• Maintain crane according to manufacturer specs.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Inspect equipment regularly for faults.
• Train other operators when required.
• Collaborate with engineers or surveyors on site.
