Job summary

Miral Experiences in Abu Dhabi seeks a Costuming Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team ensuring artistic integrity and operational excellence. You will manage costume operations, liaise with Entertainment, Events & Production, and safeguard brand standards across IP-driven shows and parades.

You will drive quality, safety, and efficiency while mentoring staff and coordinating with cross-functional partners to deliver guest‑facing experiences at the highest level.

Qualifications

• Higher secondary or equivalent education.
• Minimum 4 years in theme park or entertainment industry with large-scale productions.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• Understanding of costume builds and operations management.
• English communication proficiency.
• Ability to hand sew and operate home sewing machines.
• Experience working with performers.
• Understanding of costume technology, wig care and theatrical makeup.
• Bachelor’s degree in theatre arts with emphasis on costuming.
• 7+ years in entertainment/theme park costuming; 3 years leading a team.
• Stage management knowledge and costume design/sketching ability.
• Ability to lead procurement and contracting for costumes.
• Theme Park experience and IP costume development experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the Costuming team.
• Build an engaged workforce with open communication and best practices.
• Set performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and support succession planning.
• Oversee daily costume issuance, maintenance, laundry, storage, and inventory.
• Ensure costumes are prepared, fitted, and presented to high quality standards.
• Manage costume logistics for daily operations, rehearsals, events, and productions.
• Monitor costume utilization and asset longevity to maximise efficiency.
• Collaborate with Entertainment Creative/Live Experiences and other teams.
• Support fittings, alterations, sourcing, and production processes.
• Provide costuming expertise during project planning, installation, and launch phases.
• Maintain costume standards, audits, and safety across venues.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, and vendor collaboration.
