Job summary

Miral Experiences is seeking a Costume Attendant to support daily operations for show productions in Abu Dhabi. You will repair and alter costumes, build new costumes and overlays, and assist with dressing performers backstage to ensure smooth performances.

The role requires strong sewing skills, familiarity with patternmaking, and the ability to work with performers and stage teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Higher secondary or equivalent education; minimum 3 years sewing background; sewing and tailoring skills (hand and machine); cutting/fitting and patternmaking knowledge; operate industrial/home sewing machines and serger; attention to detail; English written/spoken; experience with performers.
• Desirable: Associate degree or higher in theatre; 5 years sewing background; theatre/theme park experience; costume repair/manufacturing background; knowledge of theatrical show supplies; specialty in costume technology; theme park experience.

Responsibilities

• Repairs & Alterations & Support for the Daily Operation: Altering and repairing costumes for show productions and crafting pieces; assist with daily laundry including washing, hanging, ironing and steaming costume pieces; help with checking in/out costumes daily; assist in dressing performers backstage or in Green Rooms as a dresser; assist Senior Tailors with tailoring tasks; perform other Costume Attendant duties as required.
