Farah Experiences LLC is seeking a skilled Costume Attendant to handle repairs, alterations, and daily costume support for show productions. You will assist in dress backstage, perform laundering, and help build costumes and overlays according to designer guidelines.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of sewing experience, proficiency with hand and machine sewing, and familiarity with cutting/fitting and patternmaking.

Formación

• Higher secondary or equivalent education.
• Minimum 3 years sewing background.
• Sewing and tailoring skills – both hand and machine sewing.
• Knowledge of cutting/fitting and patternmaking.
• Able to operate both industrial and home sewing machines.
• Able to operate serger machines.
• Attention to details and highly organized.
• Knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Previous experience working with performers.

Responsabilidades

• Alter costumes for show productions; repair and fabricate craft pieces.
• Perform laundry and care for costume pieces.
• Assist with checking costumes in/out and dressing performers backstage.
• Help senior tailors with tailoring tasks.
• Build new costumes and overlays from design to show-ready.
• Track inventory and coordinate with tailors on supplies.
