Job summary

Currie & Brown are seeking a Cost Manager (Post-contract) to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will support project leaders with high-standard service delivery, capture knowledge across projects, and reinforce our reputation as a leading consultancy.

The role requires a BSc in Quantity Surveying, essential procurement experience, and Middle East exposure. MRICS is preferred. You will interact with clients and contribute to financial control across projects.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent required.
• MRICS membership is preferred but not essential.
• Procurement experience is essential.
• Experience delivering cost management in a global consultancy is ideal.
• Experience in the Middle East and client-facing roles is preferred.

Currie & Brown are looking for a Cost Manager (Post-contract) to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi.

As a Cost Manager you will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

You will be:

• Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to our clients
• Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments
• Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
• Undertaking cost management services as part of a team
• Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
• Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in the cost management of projects
• Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; building great client relationships

What do you need:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Previous procurement experience is essential for the role
• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) - preferred but not essential
• Previous technical delivery experience gained within a global consultancy firm
• Previous Middle East experience
• To be comfortable working in a client facing role
• Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
