Job summary

Currie & Brown in Dubai are seeking a Cost Manager to join our growing team. You will provide accurate cost advice, support project leaders, and deliver high standards of service to clients.

This role requires a BSc in Quantity Surveying, procurement experience, Middle East exposure, and confidence in client-facing delivery. MRICS is preferred but not essential; the successful candidate will be well-organised, proactive and commercially astute.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required.
• Procurement experience is essential.
• MRICS membership is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the Middle East and client-facing delivery will help you succeed.

Responsibilities

Currie & Brown are looking for a Cost Manager to join our growing team in Dubai.

As a Cost Manager you will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

You will be:

• Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to our clients
• Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments
• Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
• Undertaking cost management services as part of a team
• Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
• Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in the cost management of projects
• Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; building great client relationships

What do you need?:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Previous procurement experience is essential for the role
• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) - preferred but not essential
• Previous technical delivery experience gained within a global consultancy firm
• Previous Middle East experience
• To be comfortable working in a client facing role
• Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
