Currie & Brown in Abu Dhabi invites a Senior Cost Manager to join our growing team in the Al Ain area. You will support project leaders, deliver cost advice, and ensure financial control across pre- and post-contract stages on large developments in hospitality, leisure, residential and retail.

The role requires a BSc in Quantity Surveying, MRICS, and Middle East experience. You will liaise with clients, guide cost management, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• MRICS membership is required.
• Previous technical delivery experience in a global consultancy.
• Abu Dhabi-based.
• Experience on hospitality, leisure, residential and retail developments in the Middle East.
• Strong technical writing and client-facing communication skills.
• Well-organised, diligent, proactive and commercially astute.

Currie & Brown are looking for a Senior Cost Manager that has experience in Pre/Post-Contract projects to join our growing team in the Al Ain.

As a Senior Cost Manager you will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

You will be:

• Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to our clients
• Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments
• Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player
• Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
• Undertaking cost management services with limited supervision
• Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
• Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in the cost management of projects
• Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships

What do you need?

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
• Previous technical delivery experience gained within a global consultancy firm
• Abu Dhabi-based
• Experience on a variety of large developments such as hospitality, leisure, residential and retail
• Middle East experience essential
• Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills
• Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
