Overview

Ontime Group is seeking a detailoriented and experienced Cost Estimator to join our team in the Fitout Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing project costs preparing detailed estimates and providing comprehensive financial analysis to support project bids and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Gather and evaluate data from various sources to establish pricing for materials and labor
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to understand project scope and requirements
• Prepare detailed breakdowns of costs including direct and indirect expenses
• Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of market trends pricing and materials
• Participate in tender processes and bid submissions as required
• Review and adjust estimates based on project changes and feedback

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field
• Proven experience as a Cost Estimator in the fitout or construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and material costs
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD Estimator Pro)
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Familiarity with UAE construction and fitout regulations is a plus
