Job summary

KBR-Abu Dhabi is seeking a Cost Engineer to oversee project cost management on large-scale Power and Water Transmission Scheme in Abu Dhabi. You will develop program budgets, track costs, provide variance analysis, and present reports to senior management.

With 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, you will coordinate with clients, EPCs and supervisors, manage risks, and mentor project teams to ensure cost efficiency and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience on programmes with similar scope.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall program and package budgets and maintain live documents.
• Track costs against budgets, including forecast final/out-turn costs.
• Prepare monthly Forecast-to-Complete and variance analyses with commentary.
• Review EPC contractor reports on Work scope and value delivered.
• Coordinate with clients, supervision consultants, contractors and regulators.
• Monitor insurance and bonds, prepare variation orders and assist in claims.
• Present regular project reports to senior management and client.
