Job summary

Fruitful Day is seeking a meticulous Cost Controller Junior Accountant in the UAE to manage food-cost controls and basic accounting tasks. You will track daily costs by SKU, log direct purchases in Odoo, and maintain wastage records with weekly reporting.

You will reconcile invoices vs POs, support procurement, and assist with month-end close, VAT compliance, and audits. UAE experience preferred; Arabic a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and/or pursuing ACCA/CMA.
• UAE experience preferred; Arabic a plus but not required.
• Strong knowledge of COGS, wastage, standard and AVCO costing.

Responsibilities

• Track daily cost control and accounting tasks across food and beverages.
• Log direct purchases and reconcile supplier invoices with POs and delivery notes.
• Maintain wastage and cost logs, analyze variances, and report findings.
• Support procurement, pricing input, and AVCO costing for menus and products.
• Assist with month-end close, VAT filing, and audit documentation.
