Job summary

ADIB Group is seeking a Corporate Teller in Dubai to deliver quality teller services with accuracy and efficiency while upholding the bank's professional image. The role includes handling cash deposits, withdrawals, and other counter transactions, with opportunities to assist Private Banking customers and refer product inquiries to Sales staff.

Ideal candidates have at least two months of teller experience or applicable training, knowledge of ADIB policies, and awareness of UAE banking

Qualifications

• Minimum two months teller experience or training in banking.
• Experience with ADIB Academy or internal training is a plus.
• Knowledge of branch operations and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Process teller counter service transactions including cash deposits, cash withdrawals, drafts, and payments.
• Coordinate with Treasury for best rates for VIP/high net-worth customers when required.
• Assist Private Banking customers at dedicated counters and handle other counter services as needed.
• Identify and refer product inquiries to Sales staff.

Role: Corporate Teller

Location: Dubai

Role Purpose:

Delivering quality teller service to customers via accurate and efficient processing while projecting ADIBs professional image in all interpersonal dealings.

Key Accountabilities of the role

These are the main responsibilities of this role

Responsibilities:

• of all teller counter service transactions such as cash deposits & cash withdrawals and other transactions such as drafts telegraphic-transfers payment orders standing orders foreign currency purchase & sales cheque deposits line with operational policies & procedures
• Where centralized telegraphic transfers are involved liaise with Treasury department to obtain best rates for VIP & or high net worth customers in coordination with HOPs.
• These responsibilities may also include serving Private Banking customers at separate counters and also processing any other counter service transaction introduced by ADIB from time to time.
• sell or identify and refer product inquiries from prospective customers to Sales staff.

Reconciliation & Control Activities

• Act as the one of dual custodian for branch vault cash and security stationery
• Assist HOP as the second custodian for dual control.
• Cash reconciliation & balancing
• End of day balancing
• General filing
• proper understanding and processing for all centralized activities as per Branch Operations Centralization Projects.
