Job summary

Elkho Group invites applications for an entry-level teller role in its Dubai branch. You will be the primary contact for customer transactions and inquiries, processing cash and non-cash transactions with accuracy while upholding AML/KYC standards.

You will balance cash daily, support branch campaigns, and strive to meet sales referrals across retail products. Fluency in English and native Arabic are required, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical banking practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• Entry-level position; customer service experience beneficial and familiarity with cash handling a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service and basic banking procedures.

• Fluent in English; Arabic is native language; able to learn new systems quickly.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• You will play a fundamental role within the banks branch operations, serving as the primary point of contact for customer transactions and inquiries, as well as in maintaining the efficiency and integrity of the banks daily financial operations while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• You provide exemplary customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally, develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of bank products and services.
• You inform customers about relevant banking solutions to help them meet their financial needs, you also cultivate positive relationships with customers to enhance their banking experience.
• You process all cash and non-cash transactions accurately and within service standards, you verify customer identity and transaction authenticity in line with AML/KYC standards.
• You balance cash and reconcile transactions at the end of each working day, detecting and reporting suspicious or fraudulent transactions and maintaining zero operational losses though adherence to policies and procedures.
• You achieve individual monthly sales and referral targets, identifying opportunities and generating qualified referrals across all retail products.
• You participate in branch sales campaigns and community acquisition activities.
• You ensure full compliance with UAE central bank regulation and internal policies and c@omplete AML, KYC and sanction screening requirements.
• You protect customer information and maintain confidentiality, and report operational risk incidents and suspicious activities promptly.
• You meet agreed service turnaround times.
• You maintain high transaction accuracy and productivity continuity
• You support branch operational activities and business continuity, contributing to continuous process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a high school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree in business, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• It is an entry-level position; previous customer service experience is beneficial, and familiarity with cash handling and basic financial transactions is a plus.
• You are detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of basic banking procedures.
• You have a genuine commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• You are attentive to detail with a meticulous approach to financial transactions and data entry.
• You are able to adhere to ethical practices and confidentiality standards, and to learn new systems and procedures quickly.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills, you are fluent in English, Arabic is your native language (we are looking for a local).
• You are proficient in basic mathematics and cash handling.
• You are Tech Savvy and at ease with using banking software and technology.
• You are a team player able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
