Job summary

Acquisory Consulting LLP in Dubai seeks a Director to lead its Corporate Tax advisory practice. The role combines technical leadership, client delivery, team development and business development. The candidate must be currently based in the UAE and have hands-on experience with the UAE tax framework.

Location: Dubai, UAE. The candidate will lead engagements, advise on international tax and transfer pricing, and drive revenue growth while mentoring a growing team of tax professionals.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant tax experience.
• Strong UAE Corporate Tax advisory experience with proven record of leading client engagements.
• Experience managing teams and senior stakeholders in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing; complex advisory or transaction work is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead UAE Corporate Tax advisory and compliance engagements, including tax assessments, return reviews, planning and implementation support.
• Advise clients on international tax, transfer pricing, transactions and restructuring matters, working with specialist teams where required.
• Own senior client relationships, provide practical advice and ensure the quality and timely delivery of engagements.
• Develop the Corporate Tax practice by identifying market opportunities, shaping service offerings and mentoring the team.
• Drive business development: originate new client opportunities, expand existing accounts, build referral relationships, lead proposals and pitches, and convert opportunities into engagements.
• Take responsibility for the practice’s revenue pipeline, engagement profitability and commercial performance.

• Strong knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing; experience with complex advisory or transaction work is an advantage.
• Experience managing teams and senior stakeholders in a consulting or professional services environment.
• CA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, CPA or an equivalent qualification preferred.
• Excellent commercial judgment, communication and presentation skills.
