Job summary

Client of Salt is seeking an experienced Microsoft Copilot Studio Developer AI Conversational Engineer for a 12-month contract in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on designing, developing and deploying AI-powered conversational agents and copilots across Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Azure AI.

You will transform business use cases into secure scalable conversational AI solutions, automate workflows and enable natural language access to enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software/AI development or related fields.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Copilot Studio and enterprise AI deployments.
• Experience with Power Platform and Power Automate in production environments.
• Knowledge of secure, governable AI solutions in enterprise settings.
• Proficient in integrating enterprise apps via REST APIs and authentication patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop conversational AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Build topics, actions, dialog flows and agent orchestration patterns.
• Translate business requirements into conversational designs, prompts, user journeys and integrations.
• Integrate copilots with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, Power Platform and Teams.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, connectors, Power Automate and Azure Functions.
• Apply RAG prompt engineering and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Work with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry.
• Configure copilots across Teams, SharePoint and web channels.
• Ensure security, privacy, governance and access control standards.
• Develop proofs of concept and production-ready solutions.
• Monitor accuracy, adoption and performance and iterate on AI responses.
• Produce technical docs and reusable templates for handover.

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Copilot Studio Developer AI Conversational Engineer to join a major organization in Abu Dhabi

This is a hands-on technical role focused on designing developing and deploying AI-powered conversational agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio Microsoft 365 Power Platform and Azure AI You will work closely with business and technology teams to transform business use cases into secure scalable and measurable conversational AI solutions that improve productivity automate workflows and allow users to interact with enterprise systems and knowledge through natural language

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop conversational AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Build topics actions dialog flows and agent orchestration patterns
• Translate business requirements into conversational designs prompts user journeys and integrations
• Integrate copilots with enterprise platforms including Microsoft 365 SharePoint Dataverse Power Platform and Microsoft Teams
• Build integrations using REST APIs connectors Power Automate Azure Functions and custom actions
• Implement RAG prompt engineering grounding strategies and human-in-the-loop patterns
• Work with Azure AI Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry
• Configure copilots across Teams Microsoft 365 Copilot SharePoint and web channels
• Apply enterprise security privacy responsible AI access control and governance standards
• Develop proofs of concept and industrialise successful solutions into production environments
• Monitor agent accuracy adoption usage and performance and continuously improve AI responses
• Produce technical documentation reusable templates and handover materials

Required Experience

• 4+ years experience across software development, AI development, automation, low-code/no-code or chatbot development
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Strong experience with Power Platform and Power Automate
• Good understanding of conversational AI, generative AI and prompt engineering
• Experience with RAG / knowledge grounding
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, JSON, connectors and authentication patterns
• Working knowledge of technologies including: Azure AI / Azure OpenAI Azure AI Foundry Microsoft Graph Dataverse SharePoint Microsoft Teams Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience designing secure and governed AI solutions within enterprise environments
• Strong stakeholder communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Microsoft certifications such as AI-102, PL-400, PL-600, Azure Developer or Azure AI Engineer
• Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility
• Agent governance and AI observability
• Enterprise RAG architectures and knowledge management
• Experience developing agents for employee productivity, operational support, customer service or workflow automation
• Aviation and/or ground services industry experience would be advantageous
• Development experience with Python, C#, JavaScript or TypeScript
