Job summary

Salt in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Microsoft Copilot Studio Developer / AI Conversational Engineer to design, develop and deploy AI-powered conversational agents using Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 and Azure AI.

You will transform business use cases into secure, scalable solutions, integrate with enterprise platforms, monitor performance and publish reusable templates and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience across software development, AI development, automation, or chatbot development.
• HANDS-ON experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Strong Power Platform and Power Automate experience.
• Good understanding of conversational AI, generative AI and prompt engineering.
• Experience with RAG / knowledge grounding.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, JSON, connectors and authentication patterns.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience designing secure and governed AI solutions within enterprise environments.
• Microsoft certifications such as AI-102, PL-400, PL-600, Azure Developer or Azure AI Engineer are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop conversational AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Build topics, actions, dialog flows and agent orchestration patterns.
• Translate business requirements into conversational designs, prompts, user journeys and integrations.
• Integrate copilots with enterprise platforms including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, Power Platform and Microsoft Teams.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, connectors, Power Automate, Azure Functions and custom actions.
• Implement RAG, prompt engineering, grounding strategies and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Work with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry.
• Configure copilots across Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, SharePoint and web channels.
• Apply enterprise security, privacy, responsible AI, access control and governance standards.
• Develop proofs of concept and industrialise successful solutions into production environments.
• Monitor agent accuracy, adoption, usage and performance and continuously improve AI responses.
• Produce technical documentation, reusable templates and handover materials.
