Job summary

ACWA NOMAC seeks a CCR Operator to monitor and manage power and water units from the control room, ensuring steady-state operations and adherence to HSSE standards. The role involves handling control panels, adjusting process parameters and maintaining accurate logs.

The incumbent will communicate with field operators, perform preliminary fault diagnostics, and assist in handovers, training junior staff, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant performance.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years' experience in control room operations in Power/Water desalination.
• Proficiency with DCS/SCADA/PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control power and water units from the control room.
• Adjust operating conditions and respond to abnormalities.
• Maintain logs and handover; ensure safe operations.
• Coordinate with engineers and operators; implement change initiatives.
