Job summary

TALENTMATE is seeking a Contracts Specialist (PMC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to provide contractual and commercial support across ADNOC Upstream Onshore projects. The role covers contract administration, risk management, tendering support, change management, claims evaluation, and ensuring compliance within a PMC framework.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in contract administration in Oil & Gas, with 5+ years ADNOC experience, strong SAP MM knowledge, and familiarity with EPC, EPCM, and DBO

Qualifications

• 15+ years of contract administration and commercial management in Oil & Gas/EPF projects.
• 5+ years ADNOC experience or familiarity with ADNOC contracting, procurement and contract administration.
• Experience with tendering, bid evaluation, contract administration, claims management, variations and negotiations.
• Knowledge of EPC, EPCM and DBO contracting strategies and live brownfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide contractual and commercial support throughout project lifecycle.
• Perform contract administration and commercial risk management.
• Support tendering activities, change management and claims evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC contractual requirements and PMC environment.

Job Purpose The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for providing contractual and commercial support throughout the lifecycle of ADNOC Upstream Onshore projects. The role involves contract administration, commercial risk management, tendering support, change management, claims evaluation, ensuring compliance with ADNOC contractual requirements. The successful candidate will have extensive experience supporting Upstream Oil & Gas and Early Production Facility (EPF) projects through FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC phases within a PMC environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent professional certification is preferred.

Minimum Experience

• Minimum 15 years of overall experience in contract administration and commercial management within the Oil & Gas and Early Production Facility (EPF) projects.
• Minimum 5 years of ADNOC experience, or demonstrable familiarity with ADNOC contracting, procurement, and contract administration practices.
• Proven experience in both pre-award and post-award activities, including tendering, bid evaluation, contract administration, claims management, variations, contractual correspondence, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP MM and contract risk management.
• Proven experience in dispute resolution and claims settlement.
• Experience working on major Oil & Gas capital projects valued at USD 500 million or above.
• Good knowledge of various contracting strategies, including EPC, EPCM, and DBO.
• Strong practical experience on Upstream Oil & Gas projects, including Early Production Facilities (EPF), Well Pads, Gathering Systems, Central Processing Facilities (CPF), and associated brownfield developments.
• Experience managing high-value engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for large-scale onshore projects.
• Experience in brownfield modifications and live operating facilities is highly desirable.
