Job summary

Combuzz in the UAE seeks an experienced Contracts Administrator / Contracts Engineer to manage construction contracts through the project lifecycle. You will ensure compliance with contract terms, monitor risks, and maintain thorough documentation.

The role requires 3–7 years in contract administration, strong knowledge of FIDIC/NEC/JCT, and the ability to coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
• 3–7 years of contract administration/management experience in construction.
• Knowledge of standard forms (FIDIC, NEC, JCT).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and risk management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing tender documents and contract terms.
• Coordinate with estimators and project managers on pricing and scope.
• Participate in client, subcontractor, and supplier negotiations.
• Administer contracts under FIDIC/NEC/JCT or bespoke forms.
• Monitor milestones, payments, extensions of time, and notices.
• Prepare contractual correspondence and variation requests.
• Maintain thorough contract documentation and records.
• Support project teams to ensure contractual compliance and resolve disputes.
