Sundus is seeking a Contract General Manager (Bilingual) in Abu Dhabi to lead a broad facilities management portfolio spanning estates, hard and soft services, security and general services. The role drives performance, client relationships, budgets, and subcontractor performance while ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.

The candidate will manage multi-site operations, oversee P&L, and implement continuous improvement programs.

Job Details

The Contract General Manager is accountable for the overall leadership, performance and integrated delivery of the assigned contract/portfolio, covering estates and property management, hard and soft facilities management, maintenance, asset and lifecycle management, general services, security services and associated support services. The role plans, coordinates and controls all operational, technical, commercial and people strategies to ensure safe, compliant, efficient and high-quality service delivery in accordance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), regulatory requirements and Company s standards. The role is accountable for client relationships, Profit & Loss, budgets, people strategy, subcontractor performance, business continuity, risk, quality and continuous improvement.

Knowledge

In-depth knowledge of integrated facilities management, estates/property operations, asset management, hard services, soft services, general services and security-service interfaces.

Strong knowledge of international best practice and UAE statutory and regulatory requirements governing large properties and facilities.

Advanced understanding of SLA/KPI management, maintenance procedures, risk management, emergency preparedness, fire and life safety, compliance and quality management.

Strong commercial and financial management capability, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and profitability management.

Proven ability to manage large-scale facilities, complex service contracts, subcontractors and vendor negotiations.

Strong leadership and people-management capability across multi-disciplined and support functions, including finance and procurement.

Demonstrate analytical, organizational, negotiation, project management and change-management skills.

Strong client relationship, stakeholder-management, communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.

Proficiency in facilities-management systems and standard Microsoft applications, with the ability to adapt to company systems.

Ability to manage emergencies, make timely decisions and operate effectively in a complex, multi-site and customer-facing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.

Professional facilities management or relevant technical certification is preferred.

Minimum 10 years experience in Facilities Management or a related integrated services environment, with substantial management responsibility.

Minimum 5 years experience managing multi-disciplinary managers and teams, including operational and support functions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.

Professional facilities management or relevant technical certification is preferred.
