Job summary

Nooralsahara in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contract administration on major road and infrastructure projects. You will interpret contract conditions, manage EOTs and variations, and coordinate with planning, QS, procurement, engineering, and operations to protect the company’s commercial interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, or related discipline.
• Master's degree or professional certifications will be an advantage.
• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in construction contracts administration.
• At least 5 years of experience in Roads and Infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC.
• Experience in projects involving roads/highways, infrastructure works, utilities networks, bridges, street lighting, stormwater and drainage systems, municipality projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Red Book, FIDIC Yellow Book, FIDIC Silver Book, UAE construction contract practices.
• Experience in claims preparation, delay analysis, EOT submissions, variation management, contract negotiations, dispute resolution

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interpret contract conditions, specifications, drawings, and commercial requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations by all project stakeholders.
• Review and monitor project correspondence to ensure contractual protection of the company's interests.
• Prepare and evaluate Extension of Time (EOT) claims and cost claims related to delays, disruptions, changes, and unforeseen conditions.
• Manage variation orders, notices, and commercial submissions; maintain records.
• Draft contractual letters, notices, and commercial communications; maintain proper contract records and document control.
• Review monthly reports relating to contractual and commercial matters; support project audits and management reviews.
