Job summary

Chalhoub Group’s The Deal is seeking a Content Creation Trainee to join a hands-on Marketing environment in Dubai. You will bring culturally relevant ideas for TikTok, Instagram, and social content while working closely with the Marketing team to learn the full content creation journey.

You will assist with on‑set shoots, basic video editing using CapCut, and creating assets with Canva; maintain content calendars, trackers, and simple reporting in Excel; bring fresh ideas and execute them to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or related field.
• Natural interest in TikTok, Instagram, social media, pop culture and trends.
• Creative mindset with ability to propose new ideas.
• Familiarity with CapCut or similar video editing tools.
• Familiarity with Canva for creating social posts and assets.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills for trackers and reports.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, collaborative, and willing to support shoots and in-store execution.

Responsibilities

• Bring fresh and culturally relevant ideas for TikTok, Instagram and social media content.
• Stay curious about emerging trends, pop culture, digital conversations and what’s capturing the attention of different audiences.
• Research content trends across different markets and identify ideas that could be relevant to The Deal.
• Support the content creation process from initial concept through to execution.
• Assist with short‑form video editing and the preparation of social content.
• Create simple posters, posts and creative assets using Canva and similar tools.
• Support on‑site content shoots including product preparation, set coordination and working with the people involved in bringing content to life.
• Maintain content calendars, marketing trackers and upcoming deliverables.
• Support basic reporting and data tracking using Excel.
• Coordinate with different stakeholders and follow up on actions to ensure content is delivered on time.
• Support activations and outlet‑based content opportunities when required.
• Bring your own ideas to the table while learning how to turn creative thinking into content that can actually be delivered.
