Job summary

The World Food Programme is seeking a Fleet Management Specialist for its Dubai hub to administer FMS and GPS tracking across regional offices. You will gather requirements, roll out systems globally, and produce KPI reports to support logistics decisions.

Minimum three years in an international organization and an Advanced University degree are required. Proficiency with Windows and asset tracking systems is essential, with a focus on accuracy and timely data delivery.

  • Ensure trucks in the region are tracked with NOVACOM GPS.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements for Fleet Centre.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Under the direct supervision of the Dubai Hub Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Administer the Fleet Management System (FMS), updating/cleaning the master data of all thecountries
  • Develop FMS further, liaising with the developer in the UK, gathering and analyzing businessrequirements from the fields
  • Roll-out FMS App globally, conducing training on-sites
  • Manage the international/national staff to ensure that FMS entries are done accurately on timeglobally
  • Design and produce KPI reports for the management, analyzing the data in FMS
  • Ensure all the trucks in the region are tracked with NOVACOM GPS system
  • Assist in administering the NOVACOM system, troubleshooting and creating KPI reports
  • Conduct FMS/GPS on and off-site training for the countries in the region
  • Review and update the FMS/GPS manuals occasionally
  • Gather/analyze the business requirements of Fleet Centre, Admin, who also uses the same systems
  • Perform other duties as required
EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum three years of experience in an international organization.
  • Experience in Fleet/Workshop management is desirable.
EDUCATION:
  • Advanced University degree (Masters, BA or equivalent) in business administration, computer science,statistics, development economics, finance or accounting or related fields
TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
  • Experience in asset management or transport tracking systems
  • Proficiency in Windows (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
LANGUAGES:
  • Working knowledge (proficiency/level C) of English and limited knowledge (intermediate/level B) ofanother official language, preferably French, is recommended.
