Job summary

CareerLink HR LLC, on behalf of a Dubai hospital, seeks a Consultant / Specialist Pediatric Surgeon to join its dedicated pediatric team. You will deliver complex surgical care for infants, children and adolescents in a modern, NICU/PICU supported environment.

The role covers outpatient, elective and emergency pediatric surgeries, with multidisciplinary collaboration and strict adherence to UAE guidelines. A minimum of 3+ years post-specialist experience and UAE licensing eligibility are

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years post-specialist experience in pediatric surgery.
• Board certifications include ABPS Pediatric Surgery Fellowship, Arab Board, or equivalent.
• Eligibility for UAE licensing (DOH/DHA/MOH) and visa/work authorization.
• Experience with neonatal surgery and NICU/PICU collaboration preferred.
• Ability to work in a tertiary-care setting with complex congenital conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric and neonatal surgical conditions.
• Perform pediatric surgeries including neonatal, abdominal, soft tissue and MIS procedures.
• Manage congenital anomalies such as GI malformations, hernias and urogenital issues.
• Provide surgical care for pediatric trauma and emergency cases.
• Coordinate with neonatology, pediatrics, anesthesia and ICU teams for perioperative care.
• Lead pre-operative evaluation and post-operative management for pediatric patients.
• Oversee NICU and PICU patient care, ensuring multidisciplinary coordination.
• Counsel families regarding diagnosis, plans and outcomes; maintain records in line with standards.
