Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
• Postgraduate specialization in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Board Certification, CCT, Fellowship, or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as per UAE PQR requirements.
• Valid DHA Consultant license or eligibility, or ability to obtain one under the applicable professional title.
• Strong clinical expertise in oncology, hematological disorders, and advanced cancer therapies.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage solid tumors, hematological malignancies, and benign blood disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for oncology and hematology patients.
• Administer and supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other systemic treatments.
• Evaluate and manage conditions such as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and anemia.
• Interpret bone marrow biopsies, pathology reports, laboratory investigations, and diagnostic imaging.
• Monitor treatment responses and manage therapy-related complications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in tumor boards and complex oncology and hematology case discussions.
• Provide supportive care, palliative care, and patient counseling when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations and hospital protocols.
• Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and medical education programs.
