Job summary

Astra ProMed in Dubai is seeking an experienced Consultant Oncology & Hematology to deliver expert care for patients with solid tumors and hematologic disorders. You will contribute to multidisciplinary planning, treatment optimization, and evidence-based practice in a leading healthcare facility.

The role requires a medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification, DHA eligibility or license, and consultant-level experience.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Oncology or Hematology
• DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Consultant-level clinical experience in oncology/hematology

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage oncologic and hematologic patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans including chemo and targeted therapies
• Evaluate malignancies and solid tumors
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards
• Provide follow-up care and monitor treatment response
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure protocol compliance

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Consultant Oncology & Hematology to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with solid tumors and hematological disorders, while contributing to multidisciplinary treatment planning and high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of oncological and hematological conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care
• Evaluate and manage hematological malignancies and solid tumors
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists
• Provide follow-up care, monitor treatment response, and manage treatment-related complications
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
• Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice

Requirements

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Oncology, Hematology, or a relevant specialty
• Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at Consultant level
• Strong knowledge of current oncology and hematology treatment protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
