Zusammenfassung

SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join a reputable UAE healthcare facility. The role requires international Western qualifications and UAE licensing readiness, with responsibilities spanning diagnosis, surgical procedures, trauma management, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have specialist OMFS credentials from recognised Western systems and be willing to relocate to the UAE.

Qualifikationen

• Recognized dental degree (BDS, DDS, DMD, or equivalent).
• Recognized specialist qualification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from UK/USA/Canada/Australia/New Zealand or Western system.
• Possession of post-qualification specialist experience per UAE licensing authority.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant classification under DHA/DOH/MOHAP.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE.

Aufgaben

• Assess, diagnose, and surgically manage diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial region.
• Perform dentoalveolar procedures including complex extractions and management of odontogenic infections.
• Conduct orthognathic surgery for skeletal discrepancies when trained.
• Manage facial trauma including fractures of mandible/maxilla.
• Surgical treatment of cysts and benign tumors.
• Manage TMJ disorders and related surgical conditions.
• Do preoperative assessments, review imaging, and obtain informed consent.
• Collaborate with orthodontists, dentists, ENT, plastics, oncology and others for multidisciplinary care.
• Provide postoperative care, pain management, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to infection control and governance.
