Job summary

TalentSpoc seeks an experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon to join a leading UAE healthcare facility in Dubai. The role focuses on diagnosing and treating brain, spine, and nervous system disorders with advanced neurosurgical care for complex cases.

The successful candidate will perform cranial and spinal procedures, manage brain tumors and traumatic injuries, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Master's degree, postgraduate qualification, fellowship, or equivalent in neurosurgery
• Minimum of 5 years post-specialization experience preferred
• Experience in cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
• Strong surgical judgment, clinical decision-making, and patient communication skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage neurological conditions requiring neurosurgical intervention
• Perform neurosurgical procedures involving brain, spine, and nervous system
• Manage brain tumors, spinal disorders, herniated discs, and traumatic brain injuries
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide pre-operative assessments and comprehensive post-operative care
• Monitor patient recovery and manage post-surgical complications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing disorders of the brain, spine, and nervous system, providing advanced neurosurgical care to patients with complex neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage neurological conditions requiring neurosurgical intervention
• Perform neurosurgical procedures involving the brain, spine, and nervous system
• Manage conditions such as brain tumors, spinal disorders, herniated discs, and traumatic brain injuries
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage emergency neurosurgical cases, including head injuries and spinal trauma
• Provide pre-operative assessments and comprehensive post-operative care
• Monitor patient recovery and manage post-surgical complications
• Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, intensivists, and other specialists
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of patient safety and care

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• A relevant Master's degree, postgraduate specialist qualification, fellowship, or equivalent internationally recognized qualification in the respective specialty
• A minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience preferred
• Experience in cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
• Strong surgical judgment, clinical decision-making, and patient communication skills
