Job summary

TalentSpoc in Dubai is seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to diagnose and manage neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, MS, and neuropathies, providing advanced care for brain, spinal cord, and nerves.

The role involves conducting comprehensive neurological assessments, interpreting EEG/EMG, and leading multidisciplinary teams to guide treatment decisions while counseling patients and families about diagnoses and long-term care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB in General Medicine or an equivalent qualification, followed by DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Neurology.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and neuropathies.
• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Evaluate patients with headaches, seizures, movement disorders, and other neurological symptoms.
• Interpret EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies as appropriate.
• Manage complex neurological cases and coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
• Provide consultation for acute neurological emergencies and chronic neurological conditions.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust management plans as required.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term care.
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives.
