Job summary
Jobsoid Inc. is seeking a Consultant / Specialist Gastroenterologist in Dubai, UAE, to join a multispecialty hospital with advanced endoscopy services.
The role combines outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and endoscopic procedures to deliver comprehensive digestive care. The ideal candidate has 3+ years post-specialist experience, holds recognized gastroenterology board qualifications, and will provide endoscopic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in a collaborative, patient-centered
Qualifications
- Holds recognised specialist qualifications in Gastroenterology per local licensing requirements.
- Eligibility for licensing in UAE (DOH/DHA/MOH) is required or will be provided guidance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders including acid reflux, ulcers, IBS, IBD, infections.
- Evaluate liver conditions such as hepatitis, fatty liver, and cirrhosis.
- Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures (EGD/colonoscopy).
- Manage GI bleeding and complex digestive disorders requiring specialised care.
- Provide screening and preventive care for colorectal cancer and other GI diseases.
- Collaborate with surgeons, hepatologists, oncologists, and radiologists for multidisciplinary care.
