Job summary

Health 7 Careers is seeking a Consultant / Specialist Gastroenterologist for a multispecialty hospital in Dubai, UAE. The role emphasizes diagnosing and managing digestive diseases, with a focus on endoscopy and preventive screening within a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and endoscopic procedures, requiring 3+ years post specialist certification and UAE licensing eligibility.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Licence to practice in UAE (DOH/DHA/MOH) or eligibility supported by certificate
• Minimum 3+ years post specialist certification in gastroenterology

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage gastroenterology disorders including reflux, ulcers, IBS, IBD and infections
• Evaluate and treat liver conditions such as hepatitis, fatty liver, and cirrhosis
• Perform upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with interpretation and therapeutic intervention
• Collaborate with surgeons, hepatologists, radiologists and nutrition specialists
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education on lifestyle and prevention
