Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a leading hospital in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will deliver expert care diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders in a modern medical facility.

This full-time position offers a competitive tax-free salary and a collaborative environment focused on patient health. Ideal candidates will have a medical degree in Gastroenterology, 5+ years of experience, and a DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital or specialty clinic.
• Strong procedural and diagnostic expertise in gastroenterology.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Fluency in English and/or Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions including GERD, IBS, IBD.
• Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations including imaging and laboratory results.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations including emergency GI care.
• Collaborate with dietitians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients on lifestyle and dietary management.
