Job summary

We Care Group in Dubai is seeking a full-time Consultant Endocrinologist to provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of endocrine and metabolic disorders in adult and pediatric patients.

The role involves outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, review of diagnostic tests, and creation of evidence-based treatment plans, with coordination of multidisciplinary teams and supervision of junior medical staff. Governance and education initiatives are also expected.

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree and specialist training in Endocrinology.
• Proven experience in managing diabetes, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders.
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills with test interpretation.
• Effective communication with patients, families and healthcare teams.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
• Teaching, mentoring or clinical research experience is advantageous.
• Salary around 90,000 AED depending on qualifications and experience.

Daily responsibilities include conducting outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, reviewing diagnostic tests, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The role involves coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, supervising junior medical staff where applicable, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring adherence to local regulatory and clinical governance standards. The consultant will also participate in case discussions, quality improvement activities, and may contribute to patient education, preventive care initiatives, and clinical training programs.

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree and completion of specialist training in Endocrinology (Board Certification or equivalent).
• Proven experience in managing a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases.
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills, with the ability to interpret laboratory, imaging, and specialized endocrine tests.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and provide patient-centered, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory care.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or participating in clinical research is an advantage.
