Keka Inc. is seeking an experienced Consultant Endocrinologist in Dubai to provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. The role requires a medical degree with specialty qualification in Endocrinology, DHA license or eligibility, and 3–5 years of post‑specialty experience.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Specialty qualification in Endocrinology.
  • Valid DHA Consultant license or eligibility for Dubai.
  • 3–5 years post-specialty experience in endocrinology.
  • Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Endocrinologist to provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based, patient-centered care and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including:
    • Diabetes mellitus and its complications
    • Thyroid disorders
    • Adrenal and pituitary disorders
    • Parathyroid and calcium disorders
    • Osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases
    • Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
    • Obesity and metabolic disorders
    • Lipid disorders
    • Hormonal and reproductive endocrine disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and follow-up evaluations.
  • Interpret laboratory investigations, hormonal profiles, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • Monitor patients' response to treatment and adjust medications or management plans as required.
  • Provide appropriate counseling and education to patients and their families regarding disease management, lifestyle modification, and preventive care.
  • Manage complex and high-risk endocrine cases and provide specialist opinions when required.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, clinical standards, infection-control practices, and patient-safety policies.
  • Participate in teaching, mentoring, and training of junior doctors and healthcare staff where applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized and accredited medical institution.
  • Specialty qualification in Endocrinology, such as a recognized Board Certification, Fellowship, or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
  • Valid DHA Consultant license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain a Consultant license in Dubai.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialty/consultant experience in Endocrinology, preferably within a hospital or reputable healthcare facility.
  • Strong clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic diseases, and other endocrine conditions.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision‑making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to professional ethics, patient safety, and evidence‑based medical practice.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in managing complex and multidisciplinary endocrine cases.
  • Experience in diabetes management and insulin therapy.
  • Familiarity with current international clinical guidelines and evidence‑based practices.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and hospital information systems.
  • Strong counseling and patient‑education skills.
  • Previous experience in the UAE or GCC healthcare sector is an advantage.
